Front Brake Calipers
I want to paint my front front brake calipers. Are there any surprises that I need to be aware of, or is it just pulling out the two bolts that hold them in, and then the required masking before paint.
Thanks for your help.

Don't hit your break pedal.

I have the correct paint. I was just wondering if there are any clips or shims that I need to be aware of when I remove the calipers.

I have that trim kit too, but I'm going to paint the whole caliper. I like the looks of it. I've seen it done on another black Spyder

I measure the thickness of the rotor. Slip a piece of wood or plastic the same thickness between the pads. Paint with high temp paint. Let cure 24 hours. Remove shims, reinstall wheels. Torque lug nuts.
