I've been following the weather and saw the same thing. Only periods of rain on Thursday. Doesn't seem too bad really.
You should have been to SITA in 2012 ! That was a soaker.

    Default weather

In upstate New York, a 10 day weather forecast is about as useful as ... I really can't think of anything. When we get 2 to 3 days out, you can start worrying or start jumping for joy.

    Weather forecasts?

Hope for the best, be prepared for the worst. We have four weather forcasting stations here--only one consistently gets it pretty much on. However, drive 20 - 40 miles and it can be a whole different ballgame.

For rydes, I check the local radar, and go accordingly.

Rain or in shine were pulling out about 5:30 am Sunday, it can't be as bad as going to spyderfest in April when it's tornado season.

It doesn't matter whether it is rain or shine. We will be having a ball at this great event. We are staying at the GEL and we will enjoy our time.

    1) Forecasts from 6-10 days are only 40% accurate
    2) When Chuck Norris burps weather.com issues an alert
    3) You invited chuck to SpyderQuest right.....
