I love this setup, but don't own a RT.
When I looked at a RS I didn't see anywhere to mount a bar... do you have any ideas on where to mount one?

I have a Samsung Note 2....5.5 inch screen. If I mount in portrait mode (up and down) will I run into any issues? Can mount in landscape but the GPS software that I use works better in portrait mode.

I have my Garmin Zumo 550 which is pretty tall over all mounted with the medium B Arm and there is plenty of clearance. What is the total height of the Note 2?

Don't ride that around lighting. It looks like a strike invitation, or an anntnae farm. Holy Moses!

I finally got a good supply of brushed stainless steel Dash Mounts in stock. These are laser cut and very nice!

JT, have you ever tried to build dash mounts for RS? I have a 2012 RS and I'm trying to come up with places for a bluetooth speaker and a video monitor for a rear view camera.
thanks Gunner 02

Thanks

That's pretty clever, do you have a photo from the front or side?

Where did you get the backup camera and monitor? My brother is looking to get one to put on his tractor as he is having trouble turning his head to look behind.

They are all over the place and read reviews first. I got mine, see "My Mods" for more info. I got mine from Walmart on-line, pickup at store free. Amazon has a number of them. Where I put mine was not a good idea, hit a pot hole or something riding 2 up, ripped it right out. Also somewhat hard to see in the sunlight. I'd get wireless so running wires to the front isn't needed. I did run it all of the time, used as a mirror.

JT,
Any progress on the dash mount for the F3?
-
I made a modification to your bracket to allow more flexabilty. I regularily change opptions that I want for trips and found the bar a bit crowded at times. I used the one you sold me, traced the outline then added an extension at each end to allow for two more mounting spots for a total of 7 I think it is. This allows me to spread out the accessories mounted to it as necessary. The modification follows the same contours as yours so it lookes stock. I made mine out of aluminum since I could cut it easier.
I have been asked several times by other riders to make one for them but I told them this was your design so I could not do so. They may be or may have alread asked you for this larger system so just a heads up.
Thanks

Thanks for the heads up, while I don't have a patent on the Dash Mount I appreciate it not being copied. I'm happy to make one with 7 holes if there is some demand for it. Do you have a photo of your modification?
Thanks

The ball on my Nuvi 65 LMT is closer to 11/16th or 17.1 mm or .675". I like your design thus many others would be interested in finding adaptors to make it fit & sturdy. Any other ideas for a source?? The dash mount will work with the F3's--correct??

Question: What is needed, in order to hook a Go-Pro camera to your mount?
