Looks like prices went down since I bought mine a couple years ago. I shop a bit, but don't waste to much time. Try to support my local merchants when possible.

I used a beadrider seat (beadrider.com) on my stock seat and it worked great. It doesn't work as good on my Ultimate seat and not sure why.
You notice it more in the cool weather because it keeps your butt cheeks very cool! Ha! Almost too cold.

Airhawk-R best one that I have found (adjustable to fit your BUTT). your tailbone touches nothing and air passes between you and the seat.

Caution with gel pads, they have a tendency to get hot and squishy in the heat and cold and hard in the winter, Just my .02 cents worth.

Butt Buffer size
I went out and looked at the tag on the bottom and couldn't find a size on it. I'm thinking it's a large size.

Huge difference in cost between Airhawk and Airhawk-2, as the '2' is the economy model with a plastic bladder vice neoprene. Both are on Amazon. The price you quoted as paying is pretty close to current Airhawk medium cruiser price. For the $89 you can get the Airhawk-2.
I just got my Airhawk medium cruiser from amazon in the UPS. I went for the neoprene vice the '2'.

Has anyone used the Airhawk 2? Is it any better or worse than the original? Looks like the medium is the best fit. Is that correct?
