15000 PLUS
My 2014 RTL turned 15000 miles yesterday.. When you add the 2500 miles i put on a test bike, I have really had an active first half.
I LOVE THIS MACHINE. I have had no repair issues at all and ran the bike hard for the full 9300 mile maintenance interval without any oil use. thank goodness for the better gas mileage.. that has saved me a bundle this year. I have been getting as much as 40 mpg lately a decent highway speeds. The kenda tires are long gone and I see no hope for them on a Spyder with this power.
Ryde safe friends.. Hope you have as much fun as i have been having.

You have done some serious riding this year. Wish we had a little better weather up here to be able to get out a little more in the early Spring.

Congrats on breaking 15000!
I could only wish to get that much road time in a year up here!

BikerDoc,
I will be monitoring your progress as you rack up the miles on the ACE 1330 motor, as I'm giving serious thought to getting one once I recover from surgery. If you wouldn't mind sharing how much have you spent on having your RT serviced?

Have Federals on the front (same size as oem) and Kumho Ecsta ACT on the back - all car tires

That certainly did get it right this time. Like you, I have ridden the heck out of mine and the test Spyder, and I am thoroughly impressed with it. My front tires are showing a little wear with 12,700 miles on them and I am on my 2nd rear tire. I was a little late on the 1st service (4,000 miles) so I will be doing my 2nd service after Durango.
My first service cost around $100 as I had the dealer do everything but the oil change. So for me the cost of ownership so far is $100 plus one oil change and one rear tire. We did the tire change at home also. The maintenance cost savings over a 990 is substantial since I would be ready for oil change #4 at this point.

that did include new brake pads which a more gentile rider would not have needed
