PARKING BREAK
That's understood, I set it whenever I park the bike.
The problem is the words PARKING BREAK showed up on the screen. I haven't seen that before.

Curious..!!
does it only say parking brake or is it followed by failure..could it be a warning the brake is on that comes on if you put it in gear and try to move..?.. Check fluid levels anyway just in case...

You probably checked everything you can check. Now just remove the cable down at the brake caliper. This will release the parking and you should be able to drive it to the dealer. Unless BUDS puts you in LIMP mode.

Similar issue this morning, pulled out of the garage, put on brake turned engine off to run back into house for a few. After restarting Spyder parking brake would not release with amber brake light flashing. Turned engine off (always count to ten) turned ignition back on warning still present (Code C004B not in Spyder Codes) STARTED ENGINE, PRESSED HARD ON THE BRAKE PEDAL PRESSED BRAKE RELEASE SWITCH AND EVERYTHING BACK TO NORMAL. Went on Poker Run his morning without any additional issues.

My parking brake also stuck yesterday. I pressed the button to release. The light went out, but the brake stuck and it kept beeping at me when I would try to pull forward. It finally released. I was able to go. When I stopped to park, I got an orange screen that showed "Parking Brake Fault". I pulled the key and was off of the bike for 15-20 minutes. When I returned, all was well.

Once again I had the same issue as back in August. Stopped by my Honda Dealer and we hooked it up to BUDS said error code is a brake sensing switch or low brake fluid. Brake fluid OK so we will go back to Honda House in the near future for a Troubleshoot session. Code C004B is what I have but it is not in the Spydercodes.

My Problem solved
Bottom line, check brake fluid level when bike is cold, added 36 ml this morning to rear chamber. After that could not reproduce error.
