Spyder died on side of road can't get it into neutral to try and restart

You can start it in gear, if your foot is on the brake pedal...
Try pulling up any active codes, once you get it fired-up!

Electrical issue?
Could be battery or electrical connection. My first guess.
You can manually get the bike into neutral by moving a bolt under the bike - instructions in your manual - and your tool kit should have the required tool.

My '13 won't start unless in neutral. Pushing the brake does not work.
Try rocking the bike back and forth a little and then try neutral again. Works for me.

Last week my 2012 RT SE5 was not going into Neutral from 1st gear. I would have to shift into Reverse and then into Neutral. It just won't go into Neutral from 1st gear, but would coming from Reverse. It doesn't do it all the time, so I can live with it until I have my next service in a couple of hundred miles.

Dealer picked up my Spyder in about 45 min. from when I called, also drove me home. They will look at it tomorrow. Hope nothing serious!

We get a tool kit????????? wow. new 2014 owner. didnt get tool kit, tire pressure guage or funk light. All I got was a SORRY

Look under the seat, the tool kit should be attached to the underside with Velcro straps.
