I was wondering the same thing. And also about Seth-O, haven't seen anything from him in awhile either.
Only SLOW people have to leave on time...

I suspect it is due to finishing a new house, recovering from a fall, and the beginning of ryding season.

Where?
I think he's had a lot on his plate too. That, combined with a recent event, most likely has him in gut check mode. Can't say I blame him. Give him some time. jm2c

I always enjoy reading Scotty's post
I'm a newby here and do a lot of reading but not much posting. I always enjoy reading Scotty's posts and also noticed his absence. More than anyone else, I find his posts informative, well thought out and expressed and clearly based on lots of experience. I also enjoy his posts on the building of his house as my wife and I have done something very similar, so find it entertaining and it brings back memories of a similar experience. I do hope he is just busy and not off because of something that took place here. His experience and thoughts would be missed.

Do you remember just recently the post by a member whose spyder went up in flames. Within that thread I thought that Scotty made mention something to the effect...... That's it for me (in reference to accusations being thrown around).
I can't seem to find that post; so, I'm not sure if the OP of that thread had that thread removed.

He's got a lot on his plate. Can't say as I blame him for taking time off from SL.

Perhaps if you are in contact with him again, you could pass on to him that very many of us really do appreciate his knowledge and input and would like to continue being able to learn from his experience. There are many great characters on this site who are quick to help out with information but we would be poorer without his input.
