2014 RTS oil change
Did SpyderAnn's oil change last night. Not bad, but the Tupperware and an acoustic panel has to come off. The filter is easier to change, once you can get at it! The 1330 holds 5.2 quarts.
We removed the bottom panels, as we did on the 10 and 13.

The middle side, top side, mirror, wind deflectors, the two bottom panels, the acoustic panel. I'm sorry but I thought it was a PIA. The oil filter unscrews easily but the rest of it was a pain. Glad it is only necessary every 9,300 miles.

I forgot. It was kind of dark, but I will do more, and get pictures. The speednuts that hold the lower panel are a pia, but, once those are removed and relocated to a shelf in the garage, the next one will go much faster! Interestingly, the oil filter nut is a 36mm, just like the axle! If you use the manual, and take your time, don't break too much, it is pretty easy. My picture taking skills are craptacular! Plus, my hands were filthy!

Check/replace small green O ring on oil drain plug, mine was torn by dealer previous.
2014 Spyder RT oil drain plug is angled toward rear a little, use care to align drain plug when installing.
Much easier oil change than previous years RT's.
Thanks for posting your 2014 RT oil change.
I added photos of my 2014 RT oil change for others to see.
Hope this helps 2014 RT owners.

Tip
for installing "O" rings on the plug. Find something tubular that will closely fit over the OD(threaded area) of the drain plug (plastic or metal - remove any sharpness or burs on both ends). Slip the "0" ring(s) onto the tube. Then cover the threads with the tube and slip the "0" ring off the tube into its grove on the plug.
Instead of walking the "0" ring over the threads. Which will almost always damage the "0" ring. fwiw

Putting a piece of tape over the threads will also work. I have also used heat shrink tubbing for covering threads with great sucess.
