How about if they were to offer the new panels to owners of 2013 RD and ST owners at cost?
And in the colors of the 2013 bikes?
    Bill,
Call BRP customer service, and let us know what they think about that idea...

    Default Thanks Carl

I, like several others really appreciate your info, pictures and updates. I'm definitely going to do the same but if there is any truth to the BRP is working on a 2013 fix, I guess I'm going to wait it out. I'd really like to avoid getting the panels painted for my Magnesium colored one. If BRP plays this right they could have done the proverbial, "falling in a pile of $h!t and come out smelling like a rose"! They could make a lot of vocal folks very happy even if it cost us a little. Their heat problem could be their marketing Bonanza!

    yours looks Great!

I wouldnt mind calling and asking, but I would need two things.

Second, BRPs customer service number. lol

She did not know what, when or oh much. I'm hoping for a fix but not expecting one.
Isn't that the same phone person who said the 2014 panels did not fit.......I'm hoping for a BRP fix...but even if they provide an air-fuel ratio mix there still needs to be adequate air in-n-out of the bike....Jacque....I thinking black panels also.....could get a wrap on the panels.

It has been awefully quiet in this thread. Wonder how Carl is doing with his new panels.

    Default Panels

I call the rep in charge of my case Monday he told me the engineers and BRP are working on few things, not sure what that is but that was his answer to one of my questions the other one was is BRP taking care of the cost........crickets for about 40 seconds and he say he has no idea about that......and that is my update....

Glad to hear that BRP is "working on something", but there seem to be a LOT of "crickets" in the R&D department.

Not bad lately here in Vancouver. Daytime high of 10-12 degrees Centigrade; foggy in the morning but the road dries up by noon.
Got my First Gear Thermal Cover-All from Ron so I all set to ride! Just renewed my insurance for the STS and will hit the road! b

I'm sorry to hear the Mother Nature grounded you...
I personally think that the new bodywork really makes the ST and RS lineups look pretty aggressive now

Here is a picture of the finished product with the black inserts on the vent and the CanAm decals applied.

Looks pretty good if I do say so.
