Good Report
Thanks for the good report, keep them coming!! I am going to stay tuned to any and all reports, especially from owners such as yourself to see how the new engines and transmissions as well as cooling systems perform. So-far so-good!! I am leaning toward the 2014 RT but will stay "on the fence" a while as it's very cold and 4 to 8 inches of new snow is expected here in Ohio over the next 24 hours. Spring weather is about 10 to 12 weeks away yet in the Buckeye State.

Thanx for the report. I hope other '14 owners chime in soon and keep the info coming. I Remember how excited I was when my '13 arrived and how my enthusiasm was crushed with all the quality control problems. Best of luck to all you "beta testers"! Here's to a very happy 2014!

Thanks for the up date. Now I wish I would have purchased mine in FL. and Not NY. They still don't no when mine will be in. Can't wait to get it though. I guess they send all of them south first and the north in the spring time.

Doc,
YOur fuel mileage reporting is pretty interesting...
Can you give us a comparison between your new and old bike?
(During break-in; of course!)

The average mileage on my 2012 was approx 25 Mph during first 1000 miles. Improving to 31.5 mph average at 40000 miles

Appreciate your review
Your review is very much appreciated. Even though we had already put down a deposit on a 14 RT-S, hearing your positive comments makes me feel that much better about the decision. Yes things could still show up but I think this is going to be a great design. The only bad part is that the wait just got that much longer.
Thank you, Gary

Have you seen the Platinum bikes up close yet?
It's definitely a satin finish; no shine at all!

I would do Cognac I loved my orange HHR but that color I doubt will make it to the plain RT.
