Default 2014 RTS Missing FRUNK Switch (now you pay 100 smackers)

So as you all know from my reporting on the 14 RTS i reported there is no frank switch at all……… I did my homework, on BRPS Marketing Documents, (brochures etc.) it states Trunk switch is included on bike (it one switch that controls fog lights and frunk) look at accessory manual for 2014 page 31 you'll see witch and "included on RTS and RTS Limited) same thing in owners manual and Brochures. I contacted BRP and informed them, some one dropped the ball and there looking into it, i told them due to them dropping the ball (we think) i am requesting one at no charge………Waiting on a call back in a day or so…more to come

They'll probably mumble something like, "Specifications are subject to change without prior notification"...
    Good Luck though...

At the show in CA the demo bikes were without the switch but the ones they had on display indoors had them on the old spot with the parking brake

I like your idea. Please keep us posted unless they give you the switch and tell you not to say anything. (Then just PM us). I also did the homework and all information that I found stated the item would be available on RT-S and RT-LTD--but not on the base model. It does bother me that they don't correct an obvious glitch. To me, credibility is very important at this time.

I just took another trip to the Build a Spyder website and the feature is still shown as included on the RT-S and RT-LTD. 12/27/13 at 10:30 Alaska Time.

Specs for the 2012 RT Ltd called for the comfort seat...that was a "misprint" as well. Don't think it was ever corrected nor do I think anyone got a comfort seat without paying extra for it.

    Good luck!

    Good luck!

It looks like they finally got it right and they quit referring to the stock seat as "Comfort" they do call it comfortable and the description for the RTS shows that it has the new two tone seat and the Limited says that it has the Limited stitching.

The new two tone seat looks really nice!

Sounds like a 'bait and switch' to me.

    Default Trunk open

So because yours is blank, how does the trunk open? Is the spot functional or not?

Turning them on is not the problem. As I see the switch illustration, you'd have to pop the frunk to turn the fog lights off!

I'll take a missing switch that is easily intalled; over the nightmare that a lot of 2013 owners have withstood anytime...
