Happy Thanksgiving
Everyone post up what they are thankful this year.
Here is mine. I have been off here for a long time.
I am thankful to be here to enjoy another Thanksgiving with friends and family. For those that did not know, i was pretty much done for back in July. Thanks to Doc for the rush to the emergency room. It pretty much kept me alive. I can not go into all details other than my stomach ruptured into 2 pieces and I went down from there. 64 days in ICU and another 40 in critical care and rehab. My chances were at 5 percent to leave the hospital alive. Guess they didn't know me well and so far i have beat that. Thanks to all i told for the prayers and visits while in the hospital, and to the awesome nurses that kept me alive. Still Spyderless, but I will stop by and visit at times.

We're blessed to have what we have. I retired last December, can't believe it's been almost a year. Quite honestly, I didn't have the faith that my wife had that we could do it. So far, we have. There's more but i'll not go into it.
Dave, we'll keep you in our prayers. And you're always welcome here, Spyder or not.

Thanks guys. Might be able to get rid of the walker in a few weeks. Hard to imagine how much muscle you lose lying in bed. Gotta say that someone was watching over me for sure.

I know some of the details Dave and you're right, someone is watching over you Bro. Looks like God is not done with you yet and I'm glad. You'll continue to be in our prayers.

Dave,
Wow. I don't believe we've ever met but I'm glad you're still around! Anyone who is still here to tell a story like yours does have much to be thankful for. This time last year my stepmom started her first chemo treatment for cancer after a double mastectomy and this year she is 100% healed. You never know what a year will bring. Happy Thanksgiving to you.
