It's pretty bad in that area. Kokomo, Ind. has been put under curfew. No one is allowed out or will be subject to arrest. Keeping all in the path of this storm system in prayer. Bruisersbaby just read a post on facebook from a GOS saying she's headed to the basement because of the winds.

I'm in the south suburbs of Chicago. Total devastation about 110-150 miles southwest of here. 3 confirmed dead. Tornado touched down briefly near my house in a cemetery. No damage. Approximately 30 miles southwest of me,trees down, powerlines down.

We here in the Cincinnati, OH area just got the all clear. I am not aware of any major damage, but we did have some tornado warnings locally.

Just texted my brother in Ashland, Ky. He said just rain and wind for now.

We did OK here in SW Michigan, despite a few tornado warnings. Winds recorded of over 70-75 mph. We were lucky, considering the threat. We have some limbs down, power outages, and other damage around here, but other communities fared a bit worse. "The gales of November....."

Northwest Ohio
We were spared from the worst of it here in Fostoria but a couple of small villages (one 40 miles away, another 15 miles) got clobbered. Northern Wood County from B.G. on had lots of damage and loss of power as did Eastern Lucas County east of Toledo. Only minor injuries were reported. This morning there are many 2 hour school delays up north of us, probably due to power outages.

As day breaks we have seen a lot more damage. Still, nothing like the tornado damage in Illinois and Indiana. We have one large tree down out back. It did some damage to the neighbor's pool fence, but missed my boat and trailers. Our doughter is out of power and took some damage to the garage. Maximum straight line winds recorded here in town were 70 mph, and the max for the area was 83. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all affected.
