Well, Well, Well
I got my Welcome Kit today, exactly 3 months to the day from the day I bought it. It had the usual stuff: Patch, pin, cards to give your friends, clothing/accessory catalog, and a welcome letter with my first name and a picture of the (almost) model I purchased. I can understand why it takes them so long to get them to you. First, they have to type your name and address into the software. Then they have to select the right printer from among three. Then they have to print out the (almost) personalized letter, put it in the folder, put the folder in the outside envelope and stick the address label on it. They can probably only process 1000 or so per day.

Don't know..!!
how long it took for my welcome package but then I knew nothing about it so I did not expect it. Now the pin I must of hit the right moment to send in for it. I got two..one in a plain envelope with a letter and one in a black velour bag with the red "y" spots with a letter as well. I think they send them out quarterly... But you got it...

Sorry to hear about the delay.
I bought the used Goldwing in my sig line and within a week of registering I received:
- A "Welcome to Honda" package with a 5k pin, IN ADVANCE!
- A golden key WITH a hole already drilled for my garage door fob.
- A free heat block off plate for the right foot.
- A belt guard.
- A free dinner coupon for 7 at Dairy Queen.
- And finally, a coupon for set of front Elkas and a BajaRon bar!!!!
HOW COOL IS THAT!!!
Edit: Actually,,,, I am still waiting for something from Mother Honda...

Never received anything for the first two 09 GS's we had... but I don't think many people did.
For my first 2013 I got the welcome packet in about 10 days. We've only had the second 2013 for about 2 weeks and haven't received the second one.
It's the dealers responsibility to put in your correct name and address for these and other mailings. It doesn't happen automatically with the rest of the paperwork. I would guess most dealers don't even know about this.
It's the same address the surveys go to, which the dealers are judged harshly on. I've heard that some dealers don't put the address in so that you won't get surveys and they won't get any bad scores that way. I'm sure it's true, just not sure how prevalent it is.

I would like to claim the record. I got my first Spyder (#610) in October of 2007. Still no welcome kit. Where's the love?
