Went and looked at the F6B in person.
Well it was raining yesterday here in Dallas so I thought I would make a trip to the dealer and while I was out I stopped at Honda and looked at the new F6B. Since my last bike was a 2007 Street Glide the bagger style is right up my alley. I was both impressed with the F6B and disappointed at the same time. First they removed the cruise control and ABS and you can not get the Nav option on the F6B. Other than that I really like what Honda did with the GW to create this bike. It's like a lazy-boy rocket!!! The seat and handlebar position was very comfortable and we know the thing will haul butt, cycle world clocked it at 11.84 sec. @ 110.97 mph in the quarter! I think if they offered the bike with ABS and cruise I think they would make a even larger splash! What do you think of this bike?orange 1.jpgorange 2.jpg

Except for the price tag. I didn't like the trunk access on the one I saw. You'd have to get down on your knees to put stuff into it.

Heck I thought $19k was a pretty good price for rocket ship with a radio...lol.. I agree on the ABS but I don't think it needs reverse. The new HD Street Glide with GPS is going to cost you about $24k.

If you want all of the bells and whistles that are on the GoldWing; they've got just what you need...
They were stripping down this little bruiser for different duties...

I sure miss the power of my Goldwing with the Spyder. Miss it A LOT!!!!!

It needs a top box and a reverse. First time you forget and park pointing down hill you'll understand why...
Been there with my VTX [1800] a few times..

The first year F6B came in as a price point machine. You cannot expect a full blown GW for $19,995. My speculation is they will add the cruise and the reverse options very soon. That seemed to be the biggest complaint on the machine.
There is a website devoted to the marque--F6Baggers.com Was previously started and owned by Lamonster. Lots of good information there. And guess-what? Hardly a complaint about them at all. The biggest complaints for the first year model--not enough color choices, no reverse, and no cruise control.
