Just called the dealer about the 2014 RT!!!
OK, I have committed to the Spyder lifestyle so I will have to have the latest one. I feel the need to pull it apart and find out what makes it tick. I cant help it. With the new triple cylinder when riding two up it just makes me think it will have even more "get up and go" when I need it.
The salesman that I work with didn't know when it would be at their dealership but he was going to get me all the info today and call me back. Does anyone else here know when they should have one on the floor?
Also , I will be selling my 2013 RT Limited. this isn't exactly a post to sell my bike but I have a perfect one with every option available installed. And an extra years warranty on top. I hate to trade it in because I know they will not give me what I want so if anyone wants to buy it just give me a shout here.
I still love my 2013 ST. I will be hanging onto it for a while. If you keep her wound up it is way fast enough. No issues at all with the ST.

You and me both. 2014 RT here I come!!!

I'm have thoughts of trading mine for 2014 if they have drive shaft. With 3 cylinder and more hp and torque I see belt snapping and more flapping issues.

3 years of testing is the bottom line on no matter what potential issue you can conjure up. I'm sure it would have snapped and flapped on BRP in that time.

Ill have to look more into them. I might just stay with the RT. lots of reading to do once more info is posted on them.

on there way..!!
from what I heard from BRP folks they were sent out to dealers already..but who or where they will be first is the question. Big sellers first I would presume along with BRP only dealers. Good luck...

Where do you get all this info? Does your informant actually work for BRP? They have never sent the new models to dealers this soon. Heck the reason for Club BRP is for the dealers to see the new lineup and to place their orders for the new year. They will build several hundred units then they put them through quality control before they ship them to dealers. I have that from a reliable BRP employee.

I really like what I am hearing about the new 2014 RT. Unfortunately, it will most likely be March/April of 2014 before I can actually kick a tire or three. BLKWDO will have her long winter sleep and PERHAPS, I will have some Seal floorboards, and a Corbin seat/backrest for sale come spring. Who knows, maybe even the BLKWDO will be offered for sale???????
Waiting and patience are not either one of the virtues that I am known for.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.
Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)
MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles
IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

I saw on facebook, Len from Pit Bull in MO was riding the 2014 model. I know that he went to Orlando, so how did he get one back to MO today? Maybe some dealers have them??

I put too much into my 2011 to be changing over but I had decided last year that I would wait until 2015 to get a new one. I should hear about all of the problems with the new machine for a year before I get mine.

I called my dealer today (Central Florida Powersports in Kissimmee) and talked to them about test driving and when the RT's might be in the showroom. They're supposed to find out more tonight and tomorrow and will be calling me back. My wife and I have already decided we'll get a 2014 unless something really catastrophic comes up with the model between now and then.
I love my 2011, but I really want the bigger motor, extra gear and extra range of the 2014.

I've been on the phone off and on all day with my preferred dealer. He told me he should have them soon. I would show up on the day of arrival if it was not 1200 miles away.
-
I called mine and asked when they expect to have some in stock so I can take a look at them and the guy told me Nov
now since the main sales people from my dealer (Central Florida Powersports) are at the event, and since they are the host dealership for the event, I am hoping they will get some in sooner
will wait till they get back from the event and ask again
and yes, I am too lazy to ride to Orlando and see if I can sneak in.... lol
