Nascar..Bowyer/truex

That is a tuff one to answer. Truex and his crew chief did nothing wrong but are now out of the chase but Bowyer and his crew chief are not really affected. Newman is in and that is good given that he had the lead prior to the caution but Gordon is out. So not all the wrongs have been fixed. Of the drivers involved, I'm not really partial to any one of them getting in the chase or not.

It's a tough call because the chief put everybody in an untenable situation...
I'm a Jeff Gordon fan; but I'm not sure that I'd want him getting in on a penalty call by NASCAR... He actually put himself in the relatively poor positon he was in, by how he raced in the previous 25 outings...
Michael Waltrip said that he wouldn't fight the ruling; they got caught, and he knew it...

Damn it looks like I missed a good one and I didn't even record it.

The NASCAR schedule gets a bit "wonky" this time of year; they try to have more action on Saturday nights. I think that they don't want to get caught in a shooting war with the NFL over viewers!

with what info they had yes they got it right.
But Hey I am 48 guy so Jimmy should have his 6 cup win.

Partially
Glad Newman got back in, think Bowyer should have been penalized chase points rather than regular points.

...And as much as I hate to admit it; Montoya is actually learning how to race!

I just saw that NASCAR is now investigating communications between Logano and Gilliland. More shakeups coming.
