Left the gap with a little less skin
I had carved up corners for 2 days and on the last day I got just a little to aggressive. This wouldn't have happened on a spyder. My friend was keeping a safe distance all day while filming and then for some reason he came up on me in this turn. Ill let you guess what happened next. Here is the video.
There is several hundred miles of great action but this is the video all of my friends wanted to see.

This should act as a warning for those who don't wear helmets on this kind of ride..Nice to see you didn't get hurt worse...

I already have all the parts on the way to fix the diavel. I just have a knee and elbow scrape. I still haven't figured out how my elbow got scraped. I was wearing a jacket with elbow pads. That jacket arm didn't even have a tear in it.
I would post a picture of my elbow but I don't know if it would make some people sick. What does the majority think? Wanna see pics of knee and elbow?

Scary video. I would still get checked out by a doctor. Glad you were ATGATT. By the way, how's the other person?

The other guy is fine. He says he has broke ribs. But really you can't do much for ribs.
He was on a new 690 KTM DUKE.
I told him that is what he gets for following to close.

Wrap them is all you can do. I can attest to the pain of rib injuries.
Show the pics. Lamont showed the results of his and Chris' injuries.

i broke 4 ribs and my left scapular in a 10 mph accident and boy let me tell you they hurt

Glad you were able to walk away from this, relatively unharmed . . . but if you were out for two minutes, see a doctor. Even a minor brain injury can get very bad, with little or no warning.

Wrapping is really no longer recommended. It stops deep breathing and you could end up with pneumonia. Rabtech, your friend may want to check on that.

Glad your alright. Going Down sucks.....period.
Looks like you got a little hot into the turn and the peg grabbed the road and lightened the rear??

I'm glad that you could leave the scene under your own power, but I'd still get checked out. Did your friend go down after he ran over you?
-
with you; he was too close...
-
Ouch. That could have been a lot worse had you not been wearing gear.
Out of curiosity, was that a modular helmet?

Been there..!!
glad you were geared up. You were very lucky as well and though I wish it had not happened I wish more could see how well helmets do protect you. Hope you both heal quickly and get back out there and remember to give your self space..!!

Getting knocked out = concussion = need to see the doctor. At the very least, the doc will give you a good idea of how long you should rest to heal up the concussion; at the very best, the doc could detect/pre-empt a more serious problem (I'm sure I'm not alone, but I've known people who have hit their heads and suffered severe problems, including bleeding, that didn't show up for days, even weeks, later).
My two cents, your call, but seeing as you already chose to wear your helmet, you obviously have a head worth protecting!
