Spyder Glider
Just added my latest modification to my 2010 RT SE5. Those that know us, know my wife is a tiny thing and couldn't reach the OEM footrest for the passenger, even at it's full height. So I added wooden foot blocks. They worked but they didn't match the Spyder's look. The answer was installing the "Spyder Glider". It allowed an extra 8" of height if you needed it. I purchased them through Spyder Specialties. Spyderspecialties.com. Went for our first ride with her new footrests tonight and she is very happy. When mama is happy, I'm happy.

Glad to see you found a solution and that your wife is now a happy camper and ryder.
