My goodness...hate to hear that. They will certainly be in our thoughts and prayers. Being rear-ended is always one of my fears on the motorcyle. A lot of other situations are easier to anticipate and react to.

Really sorry to hear this. Those cagers... always gotta be watching out for them. Been rear-ended like that before (while in a car).. and you can really get messed up easily.
Not sure if I remember meeting them or not?
Sure hope they come out of this okay!

Not many more details, but doesn't sound good.

Kid must not have been paying much attention at all to miss noticing a vehicle stopped in the road to turn.

MY HOPES AND PRAYERS

OK so I called the hospital. They are both in ICU. I talked to the nurse who would not give much info (I am not family) but she said they are stable and will be in ICU a little longer for observation. She said that Family has already visited so if we wanted more info to contact family. When they are out of ICU we can call them in the room and let them know we are thinking of them.
Just what I could find out for you all.

Best wishes to both for a speedy recovery! I live in a very rural area where wild life accidents are very common; the threat from that, pales into insignificants compared to the danger in my area from distracted drivers.
