Sounds like your trip to Spyderfest will be like mine; what I call the destination trip no time for smelling roses. Fuel for Ms. Spyder fuel for person keep on trucking!! Ride safe and see you soon.

Walk around for 10 to 15 minutes at each gas stop, and have a Jolt cola(twice to caffine and twice the sugar!)

Relax..!!
Don't worry about the time and distance as you drive. The more you watch the od and clock the slower your progress seems. Keep your eyes on the road and your mind busy..I ryde till empty fill up bike and ryder walk around stretch then pull on out...good luck relax and enjoy...!!

Actually, according to the Ironbutt website, you want to avoid these kinds of drinks, and any caffine. Due to the possibility of a sugar crash possibly leading to a real crash. I only drank water, vitamin water and 1 5 hour energy during my ironbutt ryde to last years SpyderFest. I stopped every 150 miles or so for fuel and a couple times to stretch and rehydrate.

My previous was Lamont's BBQ last September, under 400 miles. SpyderFest will be over 800. Have to keep telling ourselves look what Murphybrown did this week and she was by herself!! My idol...

Ear plugs! The road noise will echo in your head for hours after you stop, and it will eat into your sleep too. Safe travels see you there.

The road noise don't bother me, but then I have really bad hearing. Otherwise all good advice, other than to make sure you eat a good breakfast. Start the day off right.
Is it Friday yet? ... Oh yeah, I forgot. I'm retired
