I had just put some of those on myself if you need help you can help you. You can call me @859-983-6735 there is a little trick to putting the on. Fred Garrett. Lexington, KY
Its a great mod for only $10, can't beat it. Makes you more visible from the rear & also helps to let you know if your turn signal cancel request actually worked or not. About a month ago, I dropped Teds Red Sled off at the dealer & he gave me a loaner RT-S for
the day, and they were the first things I missed as I pulled out of the parking lot, checking my mirrors to make sure the turn signal had shut off or not.
Getting the Mirror housings apart are a pain, there's something like 6 little tabs that you need to take a very small flat head screwdriver to pry them up, being careful to not brake them. I broke 1 on my first attempt, but the rest still hold the casing together well enough. You can use Posi-Taps to just tap the signal wires and shove it all right back into the mirror housing, simple, easy & cheap, just take your time
I drilled the little hole too, but did not take the mirror apart. Push mirror in all he way at the bottom, and drill the hole, slide wires into the hole, fish the wire out from the hole that the existing turn signal goes through, connect the arrow light to the turn signal wires, and feed back into the hole to hide in the cavity. Sorry I did not take pictures, but found the instructions on spydlerlovers.
Is it Friday yet? ... Oh yeah, I forgot. I'm retired

I thought so, thats why I asked it. Sorry about that, my why wife says I was born a smart a** and got worse. It has really been one of those days. I really wish someone would answer that.
Rather than mount something in the rear field of view; I stuck mine on the inside edge of the mirror housing. I drill a hole a bit below them, and fished the wire through the housing and then hooked it into the OEMs...More Turnsignal Indicators 03.jpg

Can't say but this section is for the RTs.
I think the RSs have a different mirror setup.
Do a search and see.

Me too. I drilled the hole and installed the arrows and a strip of leds around the mirror edge. (Of course this was after I attempted to take the left mirror apart and proceeded to bust one of the tabs inside the mirror assembly ) The holes is the safest way to go for this install. Although I must say, I hate to drill holes; they are so unforgiving.
Did you have fun getting the wiring poked down through that little hole? How long did it take you to get it hooked and pulled through? The first one; I got lucky! (twenty minutes of digging around with a piece of hooked wire). The second one was starting to try my patience after an hour of digging! Seventy-five minutes of problem-solving later...
I drilled a small hole behind the mirror glass about center and at the opposite end of the mounting end of the assembly to the bike. I just pushed the glass in on the inside edge nearest the bike which created just enough space to use the drill bit. I then used a long zip tie to fish back and with patience came out the same hole as the existing wiring. I taped the wires in just before the connector and it works fine with no disassembly required.

If memory serves me correct. I used bluestratos instructions to install my lights

Personally, I would suggest the LED strip not arrows for RS

As stated, the RS mirrors are smaller than the RT's, so I personally wouldn't want to block any of what little you have. But you could probably put on some of the LED light strips on the edges.
