side trip at spyderfest? for Little House fans
Anybody a fan of Laura Ingalls Wilder? Her home and museum is only about 50 miles east of Springfield. I'm planning on a side trip to see it, probably on Friday of Spyderfest, and would welcome company.

There is evidently more than one museum, with one in Minnesota. We were driving from Minneapolis to Tracy (south west part of Mn) a few years ago and there were signs everywhere for the home & museum in Walnut Grove, Mn. Thought we could make a detour on the way home to see our friends, but my geography was 'just a bit off'...

My maps say it is 156 miles. I live about 30 miles from there. I went to PITBULLS grand opening and it was 185miles to Springfield for me. The museum I am thinking offis southwest of Independence KS on hwy 75.

Her home and museum is in either Mansfield or Marshfield Mo, I never can remember which maybe one of her fans will help me out, anyway I'm thinking probably less than 30 miles from Springfield.

Hello
I can't believe there is another person that is into Spyders as well as Little House on the Praire. Wish we could go but as we live in Florida , it would be a hell of a long ride!
Would consider trailering bike if Mrs. Olsen was there.

Laura Ingalls Wilder's home was in Mansfield MO, that's where she wrote the books.

I went to the Ingall's homestead in De Smet SD so they moved around a lot.
