The owners event is not always in NC. I am thinking more toward the coast so we all can enjoy the beach as well.

Centrally located, lots of great roads, pretty decent weather... it sounds like just the excuse that we need for another infestation to take place!

The sponsors of SITA did the Spyders in the Smokies in Gatlinburg for 3 years before moving it to the Adirondacks. You might want to talk to them . IMHO, Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge area is too crowded for a Spyder event. Maggie Valley is much nicer but not much to do there except ride. There is a shortage of good restaurants for a large no. of people. Beautiful area though.

Would be interested in eastern NC myself. I'm about 1.5 hour from NCSpyder and 2 hours from the coast. Surf City, Atlantic Beach, Crystal Coast all good areas. Carolina Beach Wilmington area too crowded. Also interested in the Myrtle Beach Spyder event. We don't have the twisties like the mountains do but the scenary is beautiful. Lots of camping and hotels and plenty of good food including some of the best eastern NC around. By the way, there is the Outer Banks Bike week in Nags Head NC April 20th-28th for those that can't make Spyderfest.
