seal floor boards
How hard are they to install and I can't tell from the picture what is the back bolted to? I can't imagine it is just held on by the 2 screws on the front peg that hold the pad in place

I installed them myself...quite easy. there is a bracket that the back of the floorboard screws into. the bracket fits in the slot where the back foot rest is. I highly recommend the floorboards. good luck!

These 'Boards are a LOT easier to nail in place than my ISCIs were...

Indeed, very easy to install, and they are robust. No issues after a couple of thousand miles...

Really, really easy, I even installed them my self. You should have got instructions, really ebay to follow. Mine was a SE5, a bit more work for a manual

Can someone tell me exactly why the "One - 1 1/2" x 1" x 3/4" Aluminum Brake Shim" is needed or exactly what it does?

I run the extended brake pedal pad--so even more important in my case.
Thank you very much. I thought that might be the case. Just wanted to be sure.

one last question
Is the passenger foot rest still functional after the seals are put on and how does the brake extension fit on

As I recall from another thread, the passenger footrests have to be all the way down, but they still work.

I have a new rear bracket that will allow the passenger pegs to be set at any height. Only those who ride two up will bnefit from these.

What makes them so expensive?
Just curious as to what makes the Sealboards so darn expensive? I'd like to get some some time but seem to be pretty pricey even though they are great!

I need INFO. about seal floor boards
Can some one give me information about the board on the right side ( I don't have them yet)
I have seen photos showing a slot going through the board with a device sticking up through it
that is attached to the brake, but it does not have a rubber pad on it like the brake on everything with brakes
it only has the metal that looks to be about 3 inch wide and about 1/4 in. thick sticking up through about
maybe 3 or so inches....
Is that the finished product????????
Thanks for any info.

What you see is a 3/16" powder coated steel brake pedal. It is designed to be used with either the heel or toe (I always preferred the heel). I don't use a wide rubber coated pad because I want to keep the brake pedal slot narrow for a cleaner look. There is no chance of foot slipping off or catching. I tried several variations and liked this one best. I've only had positive feedback from those who have used it.

Do the Seal floor boards need to be removed to perform Spyder services?

No, you can check and change oil w/o removing them. The only time I saw them off was when my service guy worked on the transmission on my RT.

Looking at the mounting it appears that they go on top of the existing footpegs. Seems like the boards would be awfully high and would have you in a very knee flexed position. I'm refering to the RS version. I would love to hear from any RS owners using these and get some feedback. I'm not a tall guy but even the stock pegs leave me feeling like I need to stretch my legs out a bit.

The seal floor boards are only 3/16th thick which is less than your rubber pads. You wont be able to turn you foot down as you do on the pegs but then you will be able to stretch out.

I see your on an RT. The configuration looks completely different for the RS from a height standpoint. But thanks for the feedback.
