How to get vinyl back to black
I tried the mothers back to black and it was so so. Not sure it will last. My black trim pieces are marbeling from all the wet weather. It looks crappy. What are y'all using to keep but mostly bring back the black on non painted parts?

Used SC1 Clear Coat made by Maxima Racing Lubricants on the lower black of Queen B's '09 GS. Does a wonderful job of restoring the black to the black. One caveat, this is a silicon based product, so if you want to attach anything with adhesive, do it before you use the SC1. I found out the hard way. Used the stuff then a few weeks later was going to add some LEDs. The tape would not stick. Took heavy scrubbing before the adhesive would work.
That aside, SC1 does a remarkable job of restoring the faded black.

I use Goo GoneŽ Spray Gel Stain Remover to clean plastic than go over the plastic with a heat gun.

I won't use armorall products. I had a '74 Capri and used armorall on the interior. Over time, it dried out the pleather and it began to crack. Dale

Vinyl dye. I have never found any of the "black restoring" products to last much longer than a week or so...
