Nice job. Did you use just the Butler compression ring and a RAM ball with 1/4" x 20 thread (female connection)?

I think that was the size. I added a RAM mount to the Butler Cup Holder, RAM Cup Holder, and the Drink 2 Go Holder so they would be interchangeable on the bike.

Thumbs up Camera Holder for Butler Holder

There is a six inch extension bar with knuckle that connects to your Butler Mug Holder System ...pretty easy, after connecting it, screw your camera into the threading on the end and it is perfectly centered on the windshield and not in your way at all....less shaking too...Contact Mike at Butler to order this or if you have not order anything make sure to include this. Hope this helps...

Thumbs up RAM MOUNT VS. NEW CUSTOM BUTLER FOR SPYDERS

The Butler Mug System that is now available and customized for both spyder models. Works great! plus it has adapters for camera or other with a 6 inch, 4 inch and three inch extension. The 32 oz Butler Mug is best for any liquid and stays cold and warm for long periods of time and even longer with ice. The placement of the system is less obstrusive and safe too using th cross draw method and not blocking anything. Many other drop in bottle baskets are not healthy and not real functional.....This system does it all...!!!

    Default Butler Mug

I've had mine mounted for 2+ years now. Got it at the AMA conference in Keystone, Colorado. The 32oz works great for Iron Butt rides. Mount my Go Pro HD to it when not drinking.

I checked my Butler 32oz. Mount to a 24 oz. Tervis on my GL1800. No go. The mount is larger than the cup. Maybe the smaller Butler would fit, but I can't confirm.
I love the Butler 32 oz. mug, and highly recommend them. Just returned from Cuba, MO. on a new RT and rode in 90+ degree sunshine for 580 hot miles. My first add on order this morning was for the Butler 32 oz. Spyder Mug and mount. My buddy rode my GL1800 back with me, and really appreciated having the Butler on that bike.

Butler or Bust! ( ie: Dehydrate)

Placed my order for the 32oz. RT set up this morning. Just returned home from Cowtown last night and put 580 miles on the RT LTD on the return trip. ( first service already scheduled). My buddy rode my GL1800 back, and loved the Butler on it, especially in the 90 + degree heat. It's a must have add on for the Spyder. I missed having that ice cold Diet Coke, water or iced tea at my fingertips.
Have had the Butler on my Gl1800 for years. What a great product.

If anyone else was interested, the mug holder should not be attached to the passenger grab bars.
