Hour Meter stopped - 1070.9 Hours
Hey guys!
Noticed my Hour meter just stuck at 1070.9 Hours, it has stopped counting. As far as I have read, the hour are stored in the ECU and the miles are in the Cluster. So, what is the fix for this hour meter?
Thanks!

Thanks for the notes guys, but this has been seen before by other high hour SPyder Ryders, like Doc for example: This is not first to the Spyder (but a first for me).

But, I am not sure what the fix was, or what was replaced to continue the hours counting. I did read it was tied to the 'spyder born again' (mile odometer roll-over fix), but I was told my Spyder had this update.
Thoughts - what is the fix for this 1070.9 hour meter stop?
Cheers guys!

I don't think you had the fix, And if i remember correctly soon your miles/kilometers will roll over to zero.
Without the fix i don't think there's any thing you can do about it.

Interesting... thanks for the note. The km are still counting, as my work order from the local dealer shows the update was done. I will talk with them on this.
Thanks

So, I am confused:
1. Was the Hour Meter fix included in the odometer fix?
2. If the Hour meter is stuck at 1070.9 and I am not at 100,00km, yet, is there still a chance to get the odometer fix (dealer already stated this has been updated) and have the odometer prepared to go over 100,00km?
3. Is there an easy way to determine absolutely the odometer fix was applied in BUDS?
Thanks!

I thought doc said the hour meter fix wasn't included in the 100,000 km fix, and there was no hour meter fix.

Hour meter?
Pardon the dumb question, newbie here. Is there an hour meter on an RT?

Thanks for the reply, Scotty. That was my understanding... but I did read (last year) that the hour fix was 'being worked on'. That is what I'd like to confirm.
I just made another loop around town to be sure my odometer is still counting, it is 55,000+km. The hour meter remains at 1070.9.
Thanks

No...at least not a total hours one that you can read. There are trip hour meters. I'm not sure if BUDS keeps track of total hours or not.

Guys - thanks for the replies!
If I'm not mistaken, if you have tenths showing when you switch it to miles than the update was not done. You can figure it out yourself.

Not so. The tenths should continue to show until you surpass 62,137 miles.

My odometer has long ago reset to zero. Since then I have had the "fix". I am now waiting to find out if the fix prevents the second reset to zero. It will take a while because my RT is absorbing the largest share of my miles. I will report on the big event when it happens.

1070.9 with only 34,000.
Off to the dealer to get the reset.
Thanks MMcc, you found the answer for me pretty damn quick!
