    Default Must Have Tool

We've been using these in the auto industry at GM as long as I can remember and I've been there 27 years. They are advertised as one thing, but used for many other uses. Nicknames for this item are 'bones' or 'spatulas'. When you think that you need a screwdriver to pry plastic from plastic, DON'T. Use this instead:

I have one of these "bones" in my tool kit on the RT. I just asked my husband when he first started using them and he said that he used to use plastic putty knives but they were too soft and when he started to work at GM he started using bones.

they work great if you have to remove the dash assembly.

Yep, big diff between these and a plastic putty knife. These 'bones' are tough as nails and don't harm your Tupperware.

I wonder if they'd work to pop out those switches on the dash??

They should be perfect for that, Bob. I think I've even seen one in Lamont's hands in a pic or vid. Absolutely indispensable. You really should get a pair or two. You'll use it in ways around the house and auto as well.
