Ok so I'm not lurking anymore or HELLO SPYDER WORLD HOW YA DOIN?!
Hello, I'm Mike and I live in Johnson Creek, Wi. I have been looking around here for a while on and off and on again. I have a 2011 RTS color of silver with corbin saddle, IPS, spyderpops heat shields and some LED lights. 4700 miles now and having a blast I have a few questions but will post in proper thread areas. One question I do have is how long do most people keep their spyders before moving on to a new year or different design? I didn't get the limited because i couldn't wrangle the wallet to let go of the money.... oh well couple more years and maybe the spyder will get a full redesign.

Not sure about others-- but I'll be keeping my 2008 GS PE Spyder--- even after I get another one some day.

Welcome.
I also have a 2010 RT. Silver is the best color! (that'll stir em up)
Congrats on your rYde. I have 8000 trouble free miles and intend to trade when I hit 60M or so, if they have significant changes in motor size or some other feature that entices me. Right now I am satisfied with a sewing machine smooth RT and if there aren't big changes in the platform when I hit 60M, then I'll just keep on going.
I chose 60M because I think I'll end up putting 12M or so per year on it and that puts me five years out which allows me time to refill the piggy bank!

Welcome aboard! Wishing you lots of miles and smiles!

Enjoy your ryding ...come to one of the group events and meet some of us in person!
I am planning on spyderfest, seems that super8 is the place to go, I was thinking of going to the holiday inn express (never know when you might have to stand in for a surgeon or land the space shuttle) Though I have had my eye on a nice tow behind camper.

Welcome and enjoy the new ride. You also should start saving up because the accessory craze should hit you any day if it hasn't already

It gets better with miles.

Floorboards and a passenger backrest would have been cheaper! Congrats on your new ryde, too.
