Haven't had chance to try them out yet but I will post something as soon as I do. I really hope these things work and I can say goodby to rain pants.

Lamont,
I haven't been following this thread to closely. But, my question is: if someone currently wears pants with armor, this type of pants doesn't provide that type of protection? I know with a rain suit it goes over whatever you are wearing.

Thanks for the test on the jeans. I will pass on them as I am a Frog Togs lover. They work for me 99% of the time. It has already been stated where the other 1% is.
A trick to help put them on. Put plastic bags over your boots first.

Its often to cool to ride here in just jeans.
I have a pair of the kevlar lined jeans--but usually wear a pair of chaps over them when riding.
I prefer the ATGATT mode for riding--but know that can be a problem when riding in areas where the temp is 90+.
Now that we seem to have settled the water proof jeans question...
A follow up to akspyderman: how do you like the kevlar jeans (not in a rain capacity, but just as ryding wear)? Are they reasonably useful for wearing around as regular jeans when out on the road? (Or, anyone else who has such jeans. Are these the ones from DragginJeans?)

Thanks Lamonster!
Hey Lamont, thanks for being our guinea pig and an outstanding reviewer.
