    Default Spyder Heat!

    What can be done about the massive amount of heat the spyder puts off? It burns through my jeans. Is it just because it's summer? I didn't notice this in March when I bought it, of course I was wearing chaps too.Don't get me wrong I love ryding the spyder and do it every chance I get but this heat thing is getting to be a problem.

    One of the sponsors of this site is SpyderPops (http://www.spyderpops.com). Harvey makes air dams and heat shields that significantly reduce the heat. I had mine installed this Monday and have ZERO heat issues now (and I've been riding in hot ambient weather). I highly recommend his products.
