Can you tell me more about the SpyderPops heat shield?
I have added a water bottle holder (left side of the handlebars) - nice to be able to grab a drink at stop lights and such. I agree to the handlebar riser, as it is easier on the wrists.
I just added wrapping to the left side of the engine. It seems to help.

I agree with the others that risers or new handlebars are going to get your posture straightened out and get you a bit more comfortable.

I agree on the risers and windshield. I would then add Seal FloorBoards. That's just exactly what I did on my 09 RS SE5, in fact thats why I invvented the Seal FloorBoards...comfort. I later added ThrottleMeister curse. The Utopia back rest would have been nice but most important was to be able to sit straight and move my feet around.
Ride in comfort,
John

Spyderpops is a supporting vendor and can be found on the home page.
The heat management system directs the radiator heat out the side instead oetting get blown to rear where your right leg is. It also helps quiet down the noise.
Worth every penny IMHO. If you order everything at once then you will save on shipping.
+1 on mirror extenders too.
