Default Pie Ride Today 6/5 2:00pm Fenton

A friend of ours is having a Pie Ride ...all are welcome...here is the info...don't be afraid to met new folks, just show up, nice relaxed group, good folks...

    Okay re-scheduled
    "Ride for PIE".

We will be leaving from the Mega Coney Island in Fenton on us23 and Owen rd at 2pm. We will have about a 55 mile ride traveling through Fenton, Holly, Ortonville,Oxford Romeo, and then on to Armada. We will be stopping at Achatz pies for a nice dessert and coffee or other drink. They have fresh soups and pot pies also for those that would like more to eat. They have outside picnic tables and indoor seating. The pies are award winning and the Michigan 4 berry is delightful. They have some different loose teas also.
After a nice rest and dessert we will ride north through Berville, Dryden,Metamora and then back towards Fenton. Anyone can join at anytime along the ride or meet us there.
This ride is open to all bikes and all riders, invite your friends.
I hope to see all of you there, the total ride round trip from Fenton to Fenton will be about 120 miles.

I know its late notice ...but hey if your not doing anything its supposed to be a beautiful day too ride...

It is 2:20pm and I am just now seeing this post. I have things cooking in the oven and other plans now. I wish I would have read this sooner. Enjoy and we will meet up yet.

    Another great day of riding...

we met up at around 1:30 at Mega Coney Island in Fenton
    .

We headed east at about 2:15 for dessert .

We passed a couple of Spyders on Rochester Rd. anyone from here?

Our buddy Norm took us on a great ride through the country side to Armada

WE did get our pie, yummmm it was good too...I cheated and got the Cherry cheese cake .

We saw alot of bikes out riding in the beautiful weather...even in all 3 Spyders

WE headed back feeling all stuffed with pie...Norm took us on some more great roads to Metamora before folks split off and headed home.

In all we rode around 200 miles on a beautiful day. I got to ride with my friends, my wife and my oldest son Aaron (monkeyboy)

Devl is doing real well on her sometimes its getting hard to keep up to her.

Next weekend we plan on going to Bridgefest in Bridgeport...I think I'll enter my M/C in the car/bike show and I think Devl will enter her Z28..

Hopefully we will also get some riding in...maybe we can sneak off and head to Caro and Murdog's for some of their Coney dogs I hear they have a footlong.

We really wish we could...I have to say no right now...but we may just wake up and say screw it lets go...

The problem is my National club is having their annual ride in up in Shanty Creek at the Summit at the end of July we are booked for the whole week and even though we got a king suite at discount rates it still is tapping us out.

by the way if anyone is interested alot of people in our VRCC club also own Spyders so there will be at least a few of them there, your all welcome to attend...here is a link http://www.valkyrieriders.com/InZane/

Devl and I will have more Spyder events on our schedule next year for sure.

Looks like Devl and I may go to Maggie Valley after all...well at least to Lamonts BBQ...the two of us decided to take a get away together ride. After so many years of being a Michigan Rep. for a M/C Club (Valkyrie Riders Cruisers Club) we thought about the last time just the two of us took off and rode. Well its been a very long time, we have become accustomed to leading large groups of bikers all around the country (and Canada) making arrangements and all, well this time its for us. We are setting no schedule we don't even have a motel rooms yet (any suggestions?). We do plan on meeting up with some friends from Texas once we are there. We would also like to meet up with any Michigan Spyderlovers attendee's. So we hope to see alot of Michigan folks there.

P.S. I will be bringing my camera so expect pictures.

Glad to hear it. It is always funny that sometime the first time I meet other MI SpyderLovers out of State. We are leaving on Wed. morning and will get to Lamont's on Wed. night The closest hotels to Lamont's house for Wed. and or Thurs. night are the Best Western and Super 8 in a town called Bulls Gap. I hope this helps.
