Pakit Rak for Spyder
Pakit Rak has developed a bracket specifically for the Spyder hitch. I had bought their universal mount and they wanted pictures and measurements after I got it installed. They weren't happy with how it looked because of the slope of the hitch. They asked me to ship the hitch to them so they could develop a bracket that would level it out and not obscure the license plate.
They were great to work with. Not sure if they are on the website yet or not.

That is really cool. Great for a picnic when you really don't need the whole trailer.

The website says 45 lbs when used with a hitch. I'm not sure if that applies to the new Spyder bracket or not. I have emailed them to ask.

The Pakit Rak will support the 45 lbs but I would not exceed the max weight limit of 40 lbs which is what I believe Can-Am has put on the Spyder Hitch. Hope this helps.

When I called them for a new cover a couple of weeks ago they said they were making a bracket or what ever for a spyder. I just used their receiver bracket for the Goldwing trailer hitch and had it welded to the BRP hitch. I never will be towing a trailer. Just went 3200 miles to the "North Wet" (Seattle, Portland and such) with absolutely no problems. I posted some pictures a few weeks ago. As mentioned 40 lbs. is the limit for the BRP hitch.
