What brand of oil do you use?
It is about time for my 6000 mile oil change, and I was thinking about ordering a filter from BajaRon. For my 3000 mile oil change I went to the dealer for the oil and filter. But it would be nice if I didn’t have to go to the dealer every time I needed oil. It’s not that far, it is just out of my way and I rarely go his direction.
Anyway what do you guys think is the best non-BRP oil? And can you get it at a place like Wal-Mart, cycle shop ect?

I am going to do the 600 mile with royal purple http://www.royalpurple.com/ I have done some research and I narrowed it down to this and AMS. I am going to run it with Lucius product full synthetic.

Going to Amsoil next oil cahange. Used it in my past 2 bikes and like it.

I use Royal Purple 10w40 maxcycle in my SE5 and it runs smoother, cooler, and shifts better

Synthetic Oil
I run synthetic in my Toyota truck, Nissan truck and John Deere LT 150. My long time mechanic back in TN advised me to use it and it seems to work fine. Has anyone used synthetic in the Spyder SE 5?

Spyder #2 - 2012 RT SM5. Traded in after 24,000 miles.
Spyder #3 - 2015 F3 SM6. Put 13,000 miles on and sold it.
Spyder #4 - 2017 F3 SM6. Too good of a deal to pass up!

Yes sir no problems what so ever i used mobil 1 4t and amsoil you can not go wrong with either one of these as long as you put the correct viscosity in it and it meets brp spects.

I use Castrol 4T Synthetic 5w40 from CycleGear.... not to say I wouldn't use others, but that's the easiest for me to buy.
As for the peanut butter.... Crunchy all the way.

castrol was cooler
I tried amsoil first because it was more expensive but took it out after one week and switched to castrol 4t because of running hotter with amsoil, now castrol synthetic is all I use in all my vehicles
