    Default I can't wait any longer for my RT-S ! !

Hello all I am a new member and put a deposit on a 2010 RT-S SE5 in black last weekend. I've been stalking you for months and finally couldn't stand it any longer and took the plunge. When the dealer took the bike out of the crate the seat had a hole in it so I'm waiting like a kid on Christmas eve for a replacement skin. It's a numbered seat so he's hoping I'll have it by next week (anyone have any experience on the time frame getting one? ). I'm looking forward to being further educated on the bikes and hope to get together and do some riding with other Spyder owners. If any of you want to get me some things for Christmas or my upcoming birthday I have a list a mile long of aftermarket accessories that you can get me

I'm not sure about getting the gift for ya, but I would suggest (if you aren't tapped out on money) getting the Elka 300 shocks, and if you're married and she likes to ride, the Corbin armrests for her.

    on the RT
As far as the seat goes, I would take the one they have because it could be a looooong time before you'll get a replacement numbered seat.

I was just down your way. Take it home and ride while you can. It's a warranty item that they can fix when the snow is on the ground. Get that juice flowing in your veins this year before it's tooooo late.welcome

welcomeON. Did they have to send your seat skin back to get a replacement ? If not ride it while you still can and take it back when the skin comes in .

I am sad that winter is about to set in but I'm going to pick my bike up next weekend regardless of the seat issue. I can't wait any longer. I live in Bethany and we will have to plan a spring ride in beautiful New England.

I just went by there today as I went from Southington to Cheshire then on a nice curvy route 42 over to Oxford airport to watch some flights.
Last winter I got out every 10-14 days for a hour ride and hope to this winter when ever the temps get to 50 degrees .

    I wish!

I,m probably going to resume flight lessons in the Summer as I only took 3 lessons and then Bought the Spyder!!

Actually I feel in a way I view a lot MORE scenery riding the Spyder for an afternoon at the cost of $10 than I would flying a ONE hour $175 flight lesson.
Good thing is , If I continue Flight lessons Social Security will be paying for it!
