    Default 3000 checkup

can anyone tell me what the 3000 mile checkup intails with the dealer.

Is this something I can do or do I need to take it in for this?

    Thanks...Bill

It's in the owner's manual and yes you can do most of the requirements.

You can do it yourself, There is a list of things that the dealer is ''supposed''
[maybe??]to do, And I'm sure some one will post the list.
But in my Humble opinion it's over kill.

Save the receipts for oil/filter purchases. and keep a record of dates and mileage.

I have a log book that goes back to 1967, on every car/truck/bike,
I've owned. And guess what i NEVER had to show it to any dealer for
    Warranty work.
