Here's a better pic of the white, it is pearl and I think it looks great. Click on the Original Size to really see the paint.

NEW GEARS AND ACCESSORIES FOR 2011
For 2011, whether for long or short rides, Can-Am takes the worry out of packing with its new and expanded Spyder storage solutions. Spyder RT riders will be able to add more eye-catching style to their mounts with 18 new chrome accessories and HID Xenon lights. Customized style will be a cinch for long distance riders with the RT-622 trailer's new colours. High style and leading edge technology also meet in the 2011 Can Am Spyder clothing lineup, with the revolutionary Kavalier jacket as the perfect case in point.

I like my red and I liked the yellow a little better. I picked red over yellow only because I have two yellow ski-doos. And I like how the black breaks up the primary color of the Spyder. But I must say, I really like the new orange with the black hood, wow. I want one.

Still only have 300 miles on mine and while I love the Orbital Blue, it is d*mn tempting to go for the new Red..

I notice the lines on the '11 RT-S appear sleeker. Also like the black accent under the front turn signals on the new white. I wonder if the new headlights on the '11 can be purchased now for the current RT-S's. would sure be an improvement to their current headlight setup. Thanks for posting Lamont. I think it's a beautiful new lineup.

Might be able to order the white panels or just have yours painted for less than the loss you'll take on yours.
Spyder #1 - 2008 GS SM5 Premier Edition #1977. RIP after 80,000 miles.
Spyder #2 - 2012 RT SM5. Traded in after 24,000 miles.
Spyder #3 - 2015 F3 SM6. Put 13,000 miles on and sold it.
Spyder #4 - 2017 F3 SM6. Too good of a deal to pass up!

The re-calibrated shocks sound like a real winner. I was very impressed with the current RT Shocks on the RS. Amazing difference. Now I'm glad I waited (always late you know).
Sometimes procrastination pays off!
I'm definitley getting a set of the new RT shocks for my RS. I know I'm going to love them!
I'd actually like to swap my silver SM5 for the burnt orange model. That looks AWESOME! It's going to be a Rock Star syndrome revival!
Good luck stopping for gas and getting out in less than 20 minutes on one of these new rides.
I know BRP didn't give us everything we wanted. They are saving a few tricks up their sleeve I'm sure. But they did do some very good things and addressed some issues that will make a real difference. It isn't all bling.
Thanks BRP!

Suspension
Thanks Lamont for the info. Looks like BRP have realized that the front suspension needed something done. I have my Elkas and they work, not 100% for me but a vast improvement over stock. I hope to hear your input on those 2011 shocks. Someone mentioned Gas Shocks. Himmm, now that sound better but BRP has a bottom line I'm sure. No change in the engine dept. Higher displacement, lower reving, multi cylinder?? Not Yet !!!

Here is an idea.... Maybe BRP could show up at the BBQ with one of these prototypes! AWESOME!
I'd say there would be 1 or 2 (or 250) that would be interested.

Dang...... no more fast RS's.... the yellow is gone.. and I guess the silver is also..
Just have to keep my yellow to keep up with Doc's Silver.
However, of all the new colors,, that Pearl white looks good.

I really liked the white RS, and it looks great on the RT. As dirty as my blue RT was last week, I think the white would drive me crazy.

Outside of silver, white is the easiest color to keep (looking) clean. Unless of course you drive on muddy dirt roads.

Thanks for the 2011 update.

Color me this...
I love the new colors...wonder if they will offer a body panel kit for 2011?

Great looking colors. I really like the new RS colors with the black accents. I had a silver 08 SM5 and now have a silver 2010 RT SM5 Audio & conv. I like the silver but the new platnum is nice!!! The new front shock calibration is not all bad either. Thanks Lamont for the preview.
