Will a 2023 F3 fit on an open 6x12 UHaul Trailer with ramp?
I tried searching and came across conflicting information. Will a 2023 F3 Limited fit on an open 6x12 UHaul trailer with ramp. I am unable to get the exact measurements of the Spyder or trailer in person. Has anyone used a 6x12 UHaul trailer to transport their F3 Limited Spyder. Thanks!

Reason: Expanded title to briefly ask the question... ;-)

If the trailer has a 6'x12' bed, then your spyder will fit.
If the ramp is also 6' wide, watch out for loading problems if the incline is too steep.
Good Luck, Bill.

Fixed this bit for you Bill!!
It's been a while, but in the past, we've seen/heard of a few here who measured the bed/tray to check it was wide enough, hired the trailer, and only then found out the tail-gate opening wasn't wide enough for the Spyder to fit thru!!
And you do need to be extremely careful not to drag the Spyder's belly as you go over the top of the ramp, cos that can bend/damage the Reverse Gear selector/actuator that hangs down in juuuust the wrong spot!! You should look at lifting the hitch end of the trailer (on or off the tow vehicle ) to reduce that ramp-over angle; or dropping the tail end if you can/load off a raised curb or bank, and still be very careful! That actuator is important and easily bent/misaligned!

I think you will find out that the tailgate opening is not wide enough.

If I remember correctly, the wheel wells extend into the bed thus making it unusable for a 5.5 ft load.

Check that tailgate opening! When I sold my RT the buyer came with a U haul trailer that was bigger than my 6x10 but the opening was choked down so that it was too narrow.

If wheel wells were a problem, might be able to back in. That way the wide front is not passing them.

I tried that trailer when I was going to drop off my Ryker and get my new F3 Ltd. Opening and ramp are not the full width of the bed. There are jams with locking points on either side of bed that block loading.

My wife loaded her F3-S into a UHaul 6x12 enclosed trailer. BUT, you need to make sure to get one with the double swing-out doors, not the roll-up door! Then you just need 3 ramps.

Hello,
I have a 2018 F3-L and an open frame 6 x 12 trailer with ramp. I can drive it on and off with no problem. However, a couple of items to consider - my trailer has no wheel or fender protruding into the trailer bed, not sure if the U-haul has an inside fender, that would be a deal breaker. Also, depending on the steepness of the ramp, you need to drive it on and off at the largest diagonal path possible to keep from hitting the bottom parts of the bike frame and causing damage. Kind of like driving into a ramped driveway with your car at an angle to keep from bottoming out.

I ended up renting a 6x12 open utility trailer with a 5 foot gate. I backed my truck on to oil change ramps to raise the front of the trailer, otherwise the nose would hit the ramp. It helped doing research before transporting 5 hours, so there were no surprises. Thanks to all.
