Running 16" PPA Rims, any suggestions on where to get tires to suit?
I have a 2015 RTL. I need to replace the front tires. I currently have Federal Formoza AZ01 on the front. I am having a hard time finding the same tires online. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to find this tire or suggest a replacement tire for it?
I forgot to mention that my RT has 16 inch PPA wheels. Makes it harder to find certain tire sizes.
Thanks

I have a 2016 RTL and put Vredistein 175/55R15 on it. I updated the sway bar and it handles the curves seamlessly.

You can't go wrong with the Vredestein quatrac. Great grip in the corners and I have been out in heavy downpours and they stay planted on wet surfaces.

165 or 175 Vredistein's are a great tire on the 2013-2019 Spyders. The 175 is a bit too tight on the 2020's and later.

Many in my "circle" have moved to the ContiProContacts due to not being able to find the Federals any longer.
Similar to what BajaRon said above with a slight adjustment - I wouldn't use 175/55R15 ProContacts on the one piece fenders which started in 2019+. I'd use 165/60R15 instead. If you have a Pre-2019 with the 2 piece fenders (top middle is a separate piece not molded) then either would fit.

That's an important piece of information considering it's not stock. Most suggestions you get won't help.

Per the American Head Honcho at Federal Tires a several years ago, the Formoza AZ01 could no longer be imported. It was a tariff issue.

Have you checked with the folks at PPA wheels, I'd think they would have a list of tires that would fit.

Start here: https://www.tire-size-calculator.info/
Use your current tire size, and place different new tire sizes in the proper cells. This will give you a graphical representation of the size differences. Since tire size numbers represent a ratio, the graphics help to visualize physical size differences. You can then look for a few different tires in different sizes that will work, and also be available in 16". For instance, 165/60-15 is VERY close to a 160/50-16. This would allow you to shop for tires sized 160/50-16.
