Anyone done an ECU Flash with DynoJet Power Vision 3 on a 2023 F3?
Hey guys, I am looking to flash the ECU on my 2023 F3 Limited. The problem I am encountering is that, to date, there is no data available for my model. In other words, no one with a 2023 Spyder F3 has tried this yet. I spoke to the tech at DYNOJET and they said that if I could verify that the unit will, at least, handshake with my ECU they could check to see if a custom ECU flash is possible. So my question is if anyone has had any success with connecting the Dynojet to a 2023 F3? If I don't hear from anyone on this forum, my other option is to purchase the unit and see if it will handshake or not. The Dynojet tech said that he would accept a return if it didn't work.
Thanks,
Jeff

Strange. I thought the idea of a PV3 was to record your engine's running data over a range of rpms, and then send the recorded data to Dynojet. They could then analyze the data, adjust it for better running, more power, etc. and return a modified map to load up to your ECU using the PV3 hardware.
I can't believe they haven't already done this numerous times on a 1330 engine. It seems that you haven't talked to the right person at Dynojet yet.

Pretty sure they have a 2020 F3 file which should be close, if not the same as the 2020+ 1330.

They have a 2022 file, but I can understand why they would not want to commit until it has been tested on a 2023.

Senior Rider,
I thought the same thing. For some reason the 2023's have some type of ECU change that prevents it being fiddled with (that was the impression I got from the Dynojet guy, anyway). I'll also checked with Bill over at BLR tuning and he seemed to corroborate what Dynojet is saying.
RAyBJ,
The last supported build was for the 2021 RT and F3s.

The PV3 is designed to read data from the ECU, and to load a modified map to the ECU. If you can't connect yours to the ECU, it is useless.
As T.P. suggested, contact FuelMoto. They will not help you with an ECU remap since you did not buy from them, but they should be able to let you know if you can connect it to the ECU of your bike. It sounds like you are getting poor customer service from Dyno Jet.

Connect to BUDS2 and check the ECU info, send it to Fuel Moto. He can then check to see ?!what stock file will work, then he will sell you a custom tune. That's how he tuned my '22, which shows as not being supported by Dynojet Tech Help.

I think Fuel Moto only does custom maps for customers that buy from them. If you can't connect to the ECU, you are no-go either way.
