We got rained on last weekend (a week ago) and it sat in the garage for a week, dirty, giving me dirty looks every time I went out there until I washed it!

Today I installed a Voltmeter. Easy simple, no cutting or drilling. The wires fit through the speaker grill opening and were terminated in the extra ports of the Lamonster GPS Plug and Play Harness I installed earlier.

Today I took the rear shock out and the air bag. The air bag was leaking so I bought some Slime and put a small amount in the bag, no more leaks. The rear shock was dead so installed a new shock now the back end it stiffer. Tomorrow I will try to go for a ride and see what change it made to the ride.

Went out for a ride through the S.E. Pennsylvania on mostly back roads under cloudy skies. Stopped for a picnic lunch before heading home along the Delaware River. 107 miles for the day. The bike needs a wash.

Flogged it hard on the "Snake" TN Hwy 421. Seen a few Spyders at the store - RT, F3, & a Limited. Then I cleaned all the bugs off the F3S and helmet.

Took my new 2023 Spyder RT STS for a practice ride down to the shopping center parking lot. Practiced back in parking, swerving, and breaking. Perfect day out for riding. Taking the three wheel training this Saturday and Sunday. Need to get to the MVA and get my tags changed to personal tags.

Finally got it back out and about after about a year. Not much of a run, blew out cobwebs (literally) and monitored for coolant leaks, none. Now on to intake mod and a good deep clean. Oh, and order a Kriket prior to rear tire replacement.

Good thing about Pearl White I guess, or maybe it's the clean country air & non-polluted rain that I ride in, as far away from the madding crowds & congested freeways etc as I can get; cos apart from one local 'pedantic polisher' who knows and so just can't 'not nag'... ) it only ever gets "admiring" &/or "how do you keep it so shiny?" comments.
Can't do that with the two-tome matte/shiny black, mate... it shows every bit of dirt!

Rode with 9 Spyders and 12 people to Monitor Pass and Walker Burger for lunch. PERFECT weather. All ran perfectly over the 4,000-foot ascent and steep descent on the East face of the Sierras.

We went for an early afternoon ride under a beautiful fall sky. There were big puffy clouds with gusting winds and a high temperature of 62 deg. F., (17 deg. C.). We visited Hopewell Furnace National Historical Site. It is a restored iron foundry north west of Philadelphia in Berks County. The foundry was in operation from 1771 to 1783. The forge has been restored and the park offers lectures and demonstrations year round. On the way home we visited the Daniel Booone Homestead. Total miles of about 66 for the day.

Installed a power cord for my GoPro camera. Just tapped it off the customer accessory socket my Garmin cable already uses. I love Wago terminal blocks, made it very easy to add the second tap. I only had to remove the left side small panel and the ignition cover.
I should get my Elka shocks sometime this week so this weekend will be my biggest job yet…installing shocks.

On Saturday, we took both out for about an hour ride on Marietta GA. Temp was 55F, clear and sunny. Went about 20 miles mostly in traffic along the Chattahoochee river basin. Used the new BRP leather jacket and the wife used her new custom orange leather jacket. Actuall used our fullface Shoei Neotec 2 as the half helmets were gonna be a little chilly. On Sunday, i cleaned the bikes up, then used the Rain-X plastic protector on the windsheilds and mirrors.
2024 RT Sea to Sky screen now working but codes will remain until BRP releases the ACP update.
2023 RT Sea to Sky Shadow Green (guess what? NO errors at all in 9 months of owning!) Such a sweet S2S :-)

Sorry Das, but if that pic shows what you were 'camping' in, then we've got very different thoughts on what that entails! In my part of the world, that ain't 'camping' by any stretch of the imagination - if anything, that's GLAMping in an RV!!
Camping doesn't involve any of that luxury stuff here - in Oz, Camping is a form of outdoor activity involving limited facilities and overnight stays with no more than a basic temporary shelter such as a tent, and usually entails sleeping on the ground. Even if you've got anything more than a long-drop dunny nearby then it's arguably NOT camping, but some other form of gentrified activity; but certainly, if you're not sleeping on the ground or at the very least, sleeping in a basic roof top tent (only you'd hafta ask if you aren't into pain, then why on Earth would you?? ) then it doesn't count as 'camping'!!
So you've really been enjoying your luxury accommodation while avoiding riding your Spyder!! Shame on you! Neglecting your poor Spyder like that!!
