Damaged my RT-622 Trailer Coupling Lock - need info/advice?
Following an act of laziness on my part the other night, I managed to damage the key lock and had to drill it out.
Does anyone know:
- What specs (Diameter, Length, Offset position - where the two halves meet)
- Where I can get one (I havent looked at BRP - I asume it will cost the same as a small car)
- If they are a generic item.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Amazon has most any type of trailer coupling lock, but not sure you can order from NSW or what the shipping might be.
Can you take it to a locksmith and have the barrel / keys replaced?

Yeah. The RT 622 was not supplied with a coupling lock from the factory. It’s just an accessory. There’s dozens of types and sizes out there. Any trailer dealer, or hardware or farm supply store that sells trailer accessories will have one. Just get another one that fits. Should be inexpensive, even in NSW.

Hi Gwolf.
I had to drill it out to be able to detach the trailer : You're on the mark with Amazon - I found this https://www.amazon.com.au/Trailer-Co...180092&sr=8-73 but figured I'd need to know some dimensions to make sure it will fit. I wasnt sure if they are a common/standard size.

I didn't realise they weren't standard, perhaps because I am in Australia they were fitted to get the right ball size for the tow head.(Ours are 50mm not 1 7/8".

I clicked that link and it said, "Currently Unavailable".
You might have to try a different plan.
1 ⅞ inch is 47.6 MM........... might be close enough for a lock. Maybe not to use for towing, but for a lock it may work. That is really close and the parts are never exactly what they are supposed to be either.
