Anyone else's Top-case blocking Tollway license plate photographs?
Have any of you with an F3 Limited gone through the Illinois toll road cameras and did they pick up your license plate? I was through there two weeks ago went through five toll booths. Checked the website later, and no sign of me being through there.! I’m thinking my top case was blocking my plate from the height of the cameras that were around 18 feet on the posts?

And that's a problem, why? If your license plate is in the proper position and not covered with something so the camera can't see it, I wouldn't worry about it. You've not done anything wrong.

GOING THRU THE TOLL LANES, did you go the speed limit? maybe 50mph? they usually have speed limits slower than travel so camera can focus and take pic. I went thru Florida toll lanes (around Miami) with camera's in 2013 with my Honda with top case on it. I never got a bill, I guess camera couldn't focus on mine either

I just went through my local California Bay Area FasTrak express lane today on my new F3 Limited. It'll be interesting to see if it picks up this bike. It's definitely never had a problem picking up my R1200RT with a top case nor my Energica Ribelle with a top case. If I slide by with the Spyder though I probably won't worry about mounting my transponder! LOL

Unless your going 200 MPH the camera will get you every time.
this was proven time and time again on mythbusters.

That's the way it is in Virginia, Trikes are motorcycles and they ride for free (for now) in hov, hot, and toll lanes.
Md. are communist asshats and charge bikes in the same lanes so I have pay by plate for them, no ez pass needed and they pick up the plate every time.

In the Charlotte, NC area, the toll lanes on I77 are free for motorcycles. Just a few miles away, the SR74 bypass tollway is not.

A little late to the party - FIRECAT - I live in Illinois, the cameras pick me up every time. Keep an eye out, and it is Illinois, so it could be a while before they show up.
This is Illinois, nobody gets out for free. Check that, but don't get me started (or I'll get banned, or otherwise scolded).
