RT622 Trailer weather seal kit fm Spyderpops won't quite fit - what've I missed?
I recently purchased the replacement weather seal kit for the hoods on my 622 trailer from Spyderpops. After fitting the new seal I noticed the seal doesn't make contact with the hoods in some places, which would allow water+ wind to get in and dust.
Is there an adjustment somewhere that I should have made to address this?

You can try adjusting the latch pins themselves. Make them shorter to tighten but if you go too much then things no longer line up right or it won't release.
Honestly, I think they sell the wrong size seal for this. I had the same problem with the seal that I got from them and couldn't adjust it out. Good luck.
I have one earmarked on Amazon that I will try when I get a chance.

Ironically your comment is exactly what I am beginning to feel is the issue. The kit is narrower than the old seal.

I replaced mine with this from amazon:

I checked the seal by placing a light inside at night and looking around all the edges for any light leakage and could not find any. So far I have not found any signs of water leakage either.
