What is the best way of wearing glasses with a modular full face helmet?
I am near the point of having to wear glasses while riding. I have a modular full face helmet with a flip up visor.
What is the best way of wearing glasses with such a helmet? Should I put the helmet on first then the glasses or the other way around? Are there any issues that I should be aware of? Thanks.

I find that with my modular w/flip up I put on the helmet, put on my glasses, then close the visor. My glass stay put where I want them. Much easier for me than tring to put them on with the visor down, could never get them in the right place.

I would say first thing in the morning after your shower, put in your contact lenses!
I always put my helmet on first then my eyewear.
Or you can get Lasik eye surgery! But I’m back wearing glasses again?

I have some sunglasses that I wear that I can put on first then the helmet with the visor up. They have fairly heavy frames. My Glasses for vision have light frames so I put the helmet on first then the glasses and then close the visor.

Helmet first then glasses. Even when I remove the helmet, if I remember, I remove glasses first, then helmet.

Also a modular but just shades (whatever pair thats not misplaced) shades first & chin bar/visor up -spreading cheek pads the helmet just a touch ; aiming @ temples & brow/widows peak go in first ,rolling to back as if keeping hair slid back. **XL size dented melon & almost dumbo wings ** always seem to get wild hair climbing in an ear if put shade in after helmet. But somehow can remove; wipe lenses; replace no problems often have visor 1/8-1/4 open or so for ventilation, depending on speeds maybe more.

RX face shield would be nice.
I get my modular on just about half way, feed my glasses in then pull the helmet full on...Hey it's what works for me.

Some helmets work better with glasses than others...so try a few if shopping for a new one. I use a Neotec and its pretty comfortable with glasses. Helmet on but open, put on glasses, close helmet. The Neotec built in sun shade doesn't interfere with my glasses either.
For longer rides I like contacts since after an hour or two the pressure on the sides of the glasses gets annoying. But my helmet only has a couple thousand miles on it so it'll probably still break in some and get more comfortable as the foam around the glasses softens up.

Helmet first then glasses. I've also got a pair of dedicated riding glasses with transition lenses and short, straight temples for comfort.

I don’t wear a modular, BUT, if I did, I’m a rider who MUST wear glasses 100% of the time, so.......put glasses on first thing in the morning, after my shower and go about my day. Going for a ride? With glasses ON, put on helmet. If you must take your glasses off to put on your helmet, for my money, I’d be shopping for a NEW HELMET. My glasses are a part of ME. I’ve been wearing then now for 70+ years, long before I ever wore a M/C helmet!

I am going against the grain like Bruce. I currently have 4 different modular helmets. Glasses on, modular open, slightly spread using chip straps and put it on. I like snug helmets and it works with each of them. My thought is maybe check different helmets. Probably 1 out of 100 times I will have to readjust glasses.

Just what I do. Glasses are on my face all the time so I open the helmet, pull the sides apart as much as I can, and drop the helmet on my head. When I've tried putting the glasses on with my helmet on already I can't get the temples to slide into the right place over my ears because the helmet is too snug to the sides of my face.

Much also depends on what type of arms the glasses have. The straighter the arm, the easier the glasses will slide in. Glasses arms that have more of a hook can be a PIA...

Full-face helmet user here, just don't care for a modular. Having a full-face helmet, there is no choice, you will NOT have your glasses on when putting on/taking off your helmet. Until recently, it was just for the sunglasses, but now the sunglasses have a prescription.
My wife has a modular helmet and wears glasses all the time. I have never really watched her, but I think she is still wearing her glasses when she puts her helmet on.

I have a pair of sunglasses that are used only with the modular helmet, but that being said, they go on after the helment is on with the chin bar up.

Thanks to all for your input. It seems to be a general agreement that "Helmet first then glasses with a modular".
I tried a pair of my reading glasses both ways with my helmet and it was a disaster trying glasses first then helmet.
So I have decided that my future glasses for distance viewing will be the same results.

I cut the temples so there is very little pressure on my ears and head. Yes, I like a snug fitting helmet.

It will depend on how tight your cheek pads fit, I can put my helmet on by opening the front wide open taking the straps in my hands and pull them apart to the side and slipping the helmet over my head! Some time when I take it off it will catch a bow, but for the most part it will slip off just a easy.

Shark Evo 1 two is made for the glasses with a thinner area at the temple. No cutting required.

Helmet, then glasses.
I too wear a snug helmet and found the temple tips dig in over time if I wear them as normal. I wear a skull cap under the helmet and slide the glasses over the top of this, above my ears. The helmet is snug enough to keep them in place. Works great.
My temple tips are fairly straight, so this may not work with the hooked type.

Lots of answers so far.
Once the helmet is broken in, as in fits comfortably, you should be able to put the helmet on over the glasses with no resistance.
