And we'll all be a lot better off when we get over this obsession of owning things.
Unfortunately, we'll always be at the mercy of those who want to control others' behavior (politics).

Grammar, not spelling. I'm not trying to 'win' an argument that is off topic in my own thread!

It will be interesting to see the final announcement. If the street version has enough range it would be a good commuter or weekend bike. I don't think I'd like to take one on a long tour, doesn't look comfy enough.

The street model looks similar to what Zero has done the past few years.
It will be interesting to see how BRP matches its competition in terms of performance and pricing.
Given they are 2-wheelers, I'm not a customer. If released in 3-wheel form, I'd be at most a "maybe" particularly if they are battery-only like the HD Livewire. A plug-in hybrid might change my mind, but I really dislike being tied to a charging station network or limited to local use.

That saddle and riding position look agonizing to this 73 year old body. I would run out of juice before the bike does…..

In electronics, Can-Am highlights the high-performance LED headlight. The brand also says the bikes will provide a “truly connected experience,” so the bikes will likely have good smartphone integration.

My question is Are they thinking, when the batteries go bad, what are the environment impacts of them? I read it would be a 20 million $ + recycle price to get rid of the batteries. And the price to replace the battery in the cars are more then the cars are worth.

Fun fact
Came across an interesting statement the other day about lithium. If you gathered all of the worlds mineable supply into one giant battery and connected it to the grid it would supply energy for the planet for how long..........................any guesses before i say it?

Ok its 21 minutes. So yeah we can go zero emissions, but that means for over 23 hours and 39 minutes of the day you got nothin'. Not to mention the finite 10 or 20 year life of the battery? What we're all sick of living in a cave by then and will beg science to vax us out of it, plleeeaaasse!
Now you can start to get an idea of what these climate crackpots are up to if you hadn't thought of the actual reality of it and just trusted the science.
Any company heading down this road is either broke and needs handouts or will be shortly after the grid gets turned off is my dumbass opinion.

Some tidbits I have heard on the news recently.
There are currently 50,000 charging stations for electrical vehicles nationwide.
California has passed a new law that says no gasoline vehicles can be sold in the state after 2035.
During the hot spell, California was making a statement NOT to charge your electric vehicle. It was putting to much stress on the electrical grid.
Kind of makes me wonder how things are going to be when everyone in the state has to charge their vehicle.
