Flushed the brake fluid out of the system, with new Dot 4. Also the vent line I had routed from the gas tank to the back of the frame, was leaving a oily like film on the cover that's above the back wheel and seeping down the rear shock, I had to add enough hose to route it all the way down to the bottom of the rear shock mount. Now the Damn thing can just leak on the ground. I have no idea why that stuff is coming out of the fuel tank vent line. I do not top off the tank. Followed the instructions to a T, posted by those in the know about this.

Finally finished my Anniversary Edition Trunk project, as mentioned earlier, I had to get rid of the Chrome accent BRP logo on the trunk lid, and Thanks to BOBL I think i have a one of a kind rear emblem mount and look. And I wanted to add the High Mount Taillight / Brake light /Turn signals and seems they only come in ..... chrome So with some help from the ScratchesHappen folks, I now have this trunk lid Trunk Emblem and HMT Taillight.jpg
Oh and WrapMySpyder folks helped me with some new nose art New Nose Art (Medium).jpg

Also got a new phone that used a "c" type charging cable. So, I had to run a new charging cable from the trunk 12v source to the front of the . Sena SMH5 Bluetooths to to phone, Garmin 660, and passenger. All seems to work just fine.

Bolted a bunch of Lamonster Garage stuff on my trike. Floor board risers and highway pegs. Even at 6 ft I like my feet nice and high, I believe that comes from all the years of riding moto X and crotch rockets, I even modded my Harley Road Glide so the floorboards rode 3.5 inches higher than what the factory gave you.
Tomorrow, I'll bolt on the handlebar riser, but I now know I screwed the pooch by not ordering the GPS mount, so now I'll have to spend extra $$$$$

Just finished the install, well worth it. Had a question and Marcus is great to deal with. Plus there is a great discount on price if a member of this forum.
Installed Spyderpops "braker bars" but a bit differently. I installed them both on side of top case, basically horizontal. Tomorrow I install RGB engine lights and battery tender SAE connection. Thanks to Spyderpops and their great customer service! One LED for braker bars apparently had a short and they promptly shipped a replacement. Then when I unpacked rest of box with engine light I found the battery harness pack was missing. Another phone call and it should arrive in mail tomorrow (which is why I didn't install today)
Took the back wheel off and had the new Kumho Ecsta AST installed, then put it back on, got every thing buttoned back up and got a EBC, ABS error. Was like WTF, turned out that when I increased the gap between the brake pads by pushing in the piston a bit, the system did not like, even though I pressed on the brakes. Put it in reverse and started to back up and the pads made some weird sounds, then bingo no more sound or error codes. So I drove it around the paved area out side the garage and got up to 10 to 15 mph then stopped fast enough to almost leave the seat and no problem, took the wife for a 15 mph run around town and all was well no codes. So guessing the pads need to be firmly seated and in align, not cocked at an angle.
Spent almost $200 getting a replacement (2nd) key!
1. Purchased a blank key for $60.
2. Went to get key cut.
3. Got directions jumbled and went to less than competent locksmith. $5
4. Realized there was no point in programming a key that would not work. Too pissed to do anything but go home.
5. Got another blank key and went to competent locksmith. Closed for the day. $60
6. Went to competent locksmith next day.
7. Got key cut. Yay! $5
8. Returned to shop for programming. $40
9. Hot fudge sundae to celebrate. $12.50
